Im pretty sure every mother has had moments when silence and being alone is something that you dream about. the days of waking up on your own and drinking a warm cup of coffee without it getting everywhere are things of the past. when you look around the house it is filled with toys and has a constant underlying smell of goldfish and apple juice. Those days are tough!
Then you have moments like this one. When the joy in your kids faces makes all of that worth it. When being a mother is the only thing you are proud of. It makes it so when you walk in the door and have to navigate around the 500 pairs of shoes that lay around the shoe basket that is empty doesnt matter because you are holding a sleeping toddler that had too much fun.
